Sara Tracy centers her practice on drafting, negotiating, and managing complex agreements across digital and interactive media environments. She focuses on intellectual property licensing, services and production agreements, and supporting cross-functional teams on a range of business developments.

Sara’s experience includes advising on policies related to personally identifiable information, and she focuses on aligning legal strategy with the business’s needs. She conducts legal research on a variety of areas, including AI and trademark law, and works on process improvements to enhance efficiency. With a practical, business-oriented approach, Sara delivers thoughtful legal solutions that balance risk mitigation with business realities.

Before joining ESG Law, Sara worked at Wizards of the Coast as a Contracted Associate Attorney, where she gained extensive experience on matters ranging from physical products to video game production and developed a strong understanding of in-house practice at a leading game company. She also served as a student attorney in the University of Washington Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where she conducted trademark clearance searches, filed applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and advised clients on brand protection strategies.

Sara earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, where she focused on intellectual property, software, and entertainment law. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
